ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Sanford, North Carolina, H. Perry Horton has worked as a reporter, a freelance arts critic, a columnist, a magazine editor-in-chief, an online hotel room reviewer, a model train repairman, a bar janitor, an ice-cream flipper, and as a clerk behind the counters of various book, record, and video stores all across America. He has a Bachelor's in Media Studies from UNC-Chapel Hill, and an MFA from Naropa University's Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder, Colorado. Horton is also the author of six produced screenplays, the most "notable" among them 2-HEADED SHARK ATTACK, and A HAUNTING IN SALEM.

 

He resides with his wife in rural Washington State.
